The long version
One point on the wrist, and what happens there.
The product page has room for the short answer. This page has room for the rest of it: where the point actually is, what a small current can and cannot do once it gets there, what a first session is like, and the cases where you should keep your money.
- Inner wrist, palm up
- Four strengths, yours to pick
- Nothing swallowed
Nothing below is a different product. It is the same band, described in full.
The point
P6 is a landmark, not a guess.
Acupressure knows it as Neiguan. Anatomy knows it as the channel between two cords that stand up in the middle of your forearm when you flex your hand toward you. Either way it is a fixed address, in the same place on every arm, which is the only reason a band can be built to sit on it at all.
You find it by hand, not by app
Turn your palm up and pull your hand toward you. Two cords rise in the middle of the forearm. The channel between them is the address, a short way down from the fold of the wrist, and the card that ships with the device marks that distance for you the first time.
The nerve runs closest to the surface there
In that channel the median nerve sits nearer the skin than anywhere else on the forearm. A current applied at skin level has the shortest possible distance to travel. Move the same band two inches up the arm and the geometry stops working.
The steel has to face you
Both contacts are set into the inner face of the band, so there is exactly one way to put it on. Worn like a watch, the steel points at the ceiling and touches nothing. If a first try feels like absolutely nothing, check that before you check anything else.
Either arm, same address
You have the point on both sides and neither one is better. Choose the arm you lean on less, so the strap is not fighting you through a workday, a steering wheel or a night of sleep.
The placement card in the box is the reference you use with the device in your hand. This page is the reasoning behind that card.
Honest limits
What the pulse does, and what it will not do.
A band on a wrist is a small thing. It is worth being exact about how small, because the people who are disappointed by one are almost always the people who were sold a bigger one.
It does this
- Puts a current you can feel over the point, at a strength you choose out of four.
- Starts working the second you press the button, with nothing to absorb first.
- Stops the second you press it again, or the second the band leaves your arm.
- Goes where you go, because the entire kit is a band, a cable and a case.
It does not do this
- It does not change what your medication is doing to your digestion.
- It does not treat a cause and it is not a cure for anything at all.
- It does not touch your dose. That decision belongs to you and your clinician.
- It does not work from a drawer. It works on the days you remember to put it on.
If a page tells you a wrist band solves nausea, close the page. This one raises or lowers one variable, on purpose, and leaves everything else where your clinician put it.
The first time
Your first session, start to finish.
No app, no account, no reading to interpret. A band, one button and your own judgment, which is more than it sounds like and takes about as long as making coffee.
-
Before you start
Charge it and get the card out
Ninety minutes on the cable takes a flat device to full. Do that the night before so your first session is not mostly waiting.
-
Minute zero
Palm up, steel down, sit down
Slide the strap on with the two contacts against the inside of the arm and the button where you can see it. Snug enough that the steel stays in touch with skin when you move your fingers, loose enough to forget.
-
Minute one
Level one, and nothing above it
Switch on and leave it alone for a moment. Level one is deliberately quiet. A small, even tap means the contact is good and the band is in the right place, and that is all you are testing here.
-
Minute two
Climb one step at a time
Raise it only until the tap is obvious. Obvious is the target. Strong is not, and a level you have to brace against is a level you will stop using.
-
Minute ten
Stay put long enough to judge it
Hold one setting until you actually know what it feels like. A level you change every few seconds tells you nothing except that the button responds.
-
After
Wipe it, charge it, put it where you will see it
The contacts get a dry cloth, the cable gets the device, and the device gets a spot you walk past. A charged band in a drawer is a flat band by the weekend.
Do the first session on a calm day, not on a dose day. Learning where the band sits and learning what a level feels like are two jobs, and neither of them wants an audience.
Before you buy
Four times this is the wrong purchase.
We would rather lose an order than have somebody work this out after the box arrives. If one of these is you, the honest answer is not to buy it.
Your nausea has nothing to do with the injection
Everything about this band assumes a window you can see coming: the hours after a shot, and the week a dose goes up. Nausea that arrives on no schedule is a different problem, and a wrist band is the wrong first move for it.
You are hoping it helps you stop the medication
It does not help with that and it was never built to. It is for people who plan to keep going and would like the day after to cost them less than it does now.
What you actually want is something to take
There is no capsule, no chew and no powder in this box, and there is no second box coming. If a supplement is the shape of the thing you are looking for, this price will feel wrong and the disappointment will be fair.
You are not going to read the instructions
It is a powered thing worn against skin. It comes with rules, the list is short, and it travels in the box. If reading it is not something you plan to do, keep your money and we will both be better off.
None of the four is a safety matter. The safety list is its own page and it is the one to read before a first session. Read safety and use

Two pages left, then the device.
The explanation is done. What is left is the part with obligations in it and the part with your money in it.
